Got some pics of the offending wheel protrusion?

You've still got the factory rims with good rubber for the check?

Time for a little flaring of the guards maybe...

Cheers

Interesting Mark, seems ridiculous that the spoke should have to be under as well as the lip of the rim and the tyre.

Yeah still have the stockers Bennie so will be putting them on, might do a little bit of guard work or maybe some damd widened guards ;)

Yeh rules state no part of the rim or tyre to protrude outside the guard. Your just unlucky they picked on your for it.

IMHO, you got done because of your tail lights. Put some stock ones in for future hassle free driving.

That's the plan, put stock tails in and hope for no more trouble ;)

Got the defect cleared yesterday, no picture because car looks weird. It's reminded me how much I like the style of the stock wheels, but the specs are too weak. The tail lights also look odd to me because I've never seen the car without the tint and I don't like how red they are, needs a very light tint just to take the edge off I think

Yeah nice, good that it wasn't too much hassle to clear.

Thanks guys, yeah was pretty easy. Will probably be putting the wheels back on next week and maxing the factory camber bolts to see how much I can get them to tuck.

Also these wheels have two really bad tyres on them that got put on for the roady and they don't grip very well in the wet ;)

Well. My new wheels arrived Monday morning only took 6 weeks from rays to my door which I thought was pretty good. They're Rays 57Valkyrie in 18x8.5 +45, very uncommon wheel and have never seen a set on a liberty before so I can't wait. Just have to send them off to get powdercoated black and get the tyres fitted (continental mc5's again) then they'll be on :D

They're an interesting style. I think they will look awesome on the car. I kinda like the nut covers.

+21.

Not a fan of the centre caps but the rim design in general is unique. Can't wait to see what they look like in black on your car mate.

Cheers guys, I'm super excited. Still undecided in the centre caps, I thought when I ordered them I would run them for sure but in real life I'm not sure. Will probably change once they're painted black :)

Never even noticed! It does look quite similar actually but the differences make it into a wheel I don't like the look of haha
