Ordered my japanese plates, can't wait for them to arrive now. Picking up my black prova muffler from Mark next Saturday and my old man is sorting out a day to get my windows tinted tomorrow. Momo will also finally go in next Saturday too so it's gonna be a good day.

Sub went in on Thursday night, did a nice clean install under the passenger seat. Such a nicer subwoofer compared to the Fusion one I had a while ago. Attached File  20150820_211445.jpg   152KB   12 downloads

Wiring was fun as I had old wires from the Fusion so my mate decided that we'd wire the Kicker wires up to the Aerpro ones still in the car so I didn't have to change the power or remote wires.Attached File  20150820_211139.jpg   130.32KB   12 downloads

Luckily it fitted under the seat with the removal of a plug which is for the seat belt detector that I didn't know was on the passenger seat. Sealed up to left rear foot vents for the air so the sub doesn't overheat if I have the heater pumped up. It ended up taking around 2 hours to do it. Really happy with how it turned out.

Alright! Where to start? Okay so I went and tried out Mark's prova muffler a while back and I decided to wait until his Genome arrived to go and get it, well I finally got to go down and get it from him the other week. We've used industrial rubber and zip ties and exhaust mounts for the time being as you can see.Attached File  20150829_122925.jpg   76.38KB   12 downloads

Attached File  20150830_111322.jpg   114.18KB   12 downloads

I'm thinking I'm just gonna have to buy universal exhaust hangers and pick a hole that it sits best at. That very same day I made a visit to Chris' house and we managed to finally get my cruise control backet issues sorted on my momo and got it in!Attached File  IMG_20150830_112849.jpg   201.87KB   12 downloads

Unfortunately not using the maaad black airbag at the moment until I can get a charge to fit it, so Chris kindly let me use his silver airbag for the time being until I chase up another steering wheel which I think is found.

Then last week my JDM spec plates showed up from Vic roads, which I think is a nice touch to the car.Attached File  20150902_145320.jpg   83.26KB   12 downloads

Hopefully today my Legacy brackets show up for them so I can have them at JDM spec height on the tailgate. Then this week I've had my windows tinted finally, and I received a package from Rising Sun Subaru.Attached File  20150907_160924.jpg   105.92KB   12 downloadsAttached File  20150907_160940.jpg   98.99KB   13 downloadsAttached File  20150908_190733.jpg   96.41KB   13 downloads

10 points to whoever can guess what the package is. Shouldn't be a hard one to figure out...

Special thanks to Mark for the prova, Chris for helping with my momo and Snowball for selling me those legacy brackets :D

Chris came round to my place today, we made up the loom for his levelling gear on the HIDs. Got everything done with the exception of the mains power for the system, as he didn't have one of the add-a-circuit thingos, and it would seem after talking to him tonight that the globe inside the switch may be blown as the illumination doesn't seem to be working on it.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

Yeah what Ben said haha :D So now I've found out I also need a new RH side HID headlight as my motor is just constantly running and no movement in it through the switch. Tried it on both plugs and no cigar, also need to find out where to get switch globes..

Could be a busted linkage between the motor and the reflector assembly too, that would explain why the limit isn't making to shut the motor off, if the reflector hasn't moved and is between settings, the motor will run until it is in position, but with a broken linkage, it'll never make that limit. You could try taking the headlight apart and seeing whats broken, but it's a lot of effort to save 150 bucks. Probably better off just importing another complete light.

With the steering wheel you can interchange the horn pads. I had the same problem when going from the silver cover (JDM airbag charge was bigger) to the black D-E.

Use a flatblade screwdriver and just pry the airbag out and switch the covers over. Fiddly, but can be done. That way you can use your existing bag/detonator.
