If its only a couple of weeks I personally wouldnt even bother. That is as long as your last set of tyres didn't wear too bad

I have a feeling the imbalance is pretty severe on that corner. I wouldn't wanna screw up brand new tyres.

Unless you're doing helis or something you'll barely wear them enough to notice.

Does the steering wheel vibrate around 80-100kph?

I haven't gone that fast yet. I'll give it a go tomorrow morning on the way to work. If so, get the $55 alignment, if not, don't bother until the springs are in?

If the steering shakes at speed then you need a wheel balance, not an alignment (often confused). The balance is independent of the alignment/spring thing so you could do it anytime.

Ah yeah I get ya. The wheels were balanced, but there was no time to do a wheel balance so I got a free one at any Kmart Tyre and Auto Service (just found out late this arvo).

Nice.

I have today and tomorrow off.

Just found out I have to go to Pt Augusta for one day next week.
I'd rather not given the choice.

Port Agutter.
