Morning all. I have my interview on in a few hours. Doing my last bits of preparation and eating before heading off.

 

Damn that was a slow weekend for the GT.

 

As opposed to Gary who works 7:30am-8:30....

I cruised to the Blue Mtns and saw the Dalai Lama.

 

Was pretty cool.

 

Although Blue Mtns is packed on long weekends, so many people in all the cafes.

 

And so farken cold.

yeah i wouldn't mind going for a cruise through the Blue Mtns. Would be some pretty good places to shoot also.

Well on Sunday Wobb and I ended up finishing up the shoot over in Syd. Oh boy I've got a lot of work to do.........

Hey Sim.

 

Morning everyone, Anyone get up to anything over the long weekend?

 

Yeah man. It was my girlfriend and I's nine year anniversary on Sunday. Took her out at Bondi for brunch, then she had a soccer game, then took her out for dinner at O Bar and Dining on the 47th floor of Australia Square (highly recommended). The view was epic. We then went for a walk to check out Vivid and met up with cousins later in the night who had come up from the gong.

 

Yesterday I continued things by taking her to Taronga Zoo. It was one of the first dates we went on years ago so it was awesome to see how much things had changed. But yeah, a tops weekend.

How is Taronga Zoo? It's been years since the last time i was there, I want to take the little one sometime and take some snaps of the animals. One of my old mates from Tafe used to work on the cable car??? if i remember before he moved to QLD. I've always wanted to get some good photos of animals, something very different than shooting cars haha, But im pretty keen to shoot myself a "bike" if anyone is keen on me shooting it.

It's really nice man. They've made some drastic improvements especially when it comes to the eating area. There are a few exhibits that have been improved or made significantly larger such as the elephant pen, but it was a really top day man. I love animals and going to the zoo so it's always awesome for me. We managed to watch the seal and bird shows which I've never done before at Taronga Zoo. And the views you have of Sydney city, Opera House and Harbour Bridge are to die for as well. Our zoo is in a prime spot!

 

There were SO MANY prams around; like way overboard. We went on a public holiday which is the most probable reason for but it was a little hard manoeuvring around them all. I took the option of driving in as well as we were running a little late. Ended up paying $17 for all day parking which is pretty awesome especially when you take into account the parking on Sussex Street being $15 after 6 pm until 6 am or something along those lines when we went to check out Vivid.
