Yep, go in, do my job, and go home.

No more dealing with bullshit staff illnesses, days off, etc

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Wooo, offered a job in the city. Still doing home loans, but on a more specialized basis, and more coin. And no weekends

Bit of a trek to the city, but fsck it, yolo.

Congratulations man, that's fantastic. The vibes are good in the GT this month! :D

My contract still hasn't been emailed but will definitely be emailed today so I'm damn keen to check it out. How far is the commute into the city for you Shaz?

From initial look, either a 1.5 hour bus ride from the bus stop pretty much 50m from my house, or a 30 min ferry ride + 20 min walk from circular quay.

Commuting around here via public transport is a joke sometimes.

From initial look, either a 1.5 hour bus ride from the bus stop pretty much 50m from my house, or a 30 min ferry ride + 20 min walk from circular quay.

Definitely beats my 30-35 minute train ride to North Sydney should I accept the Bankwest job...

They're the sacrifices you've gotta make I guess.

Meh, i'll get a PS Vita, and play playstation games on the way.

More time to relax.

That is the good thing about public transport I guess, time to just chill and do whatever, if you get a seat I guess.

I watch anime on the train to and from work when I worked in the city.

However, now I drive to work, which isn't too bad as well, but with fuel costs, train was way cheaper.

So you bank guys may be able to answer this..   Say I buy a car for 30k, but borrow 10k..

Would it be better to get Secured at a lower, rate 8% or a Personal Loan at 14%

Im thinking personal as I dont want the car to have finance attached as such, and it will be paid off in year so 4% is nothing..

Do unsecured Jamie, so you can pay extra, and worst case you wanna sell the car, you don't need to payout finance.

$10,000 x 14 % interest = $1400 interest per year / 12 months = $116 month interest

$10,000 x 8% interest = $800 interest per year. / 12 months = $66 month interest.

Sure, its more expensive, but take into consideration the fees that you pay by securing the loan against the car, possible baloon payments, gap insurance, etc you'd end up paying more over 1 year by securing it, rather than unsecured.

From experience I didn't need security for $10k Jamie. Normally ADF = Credit.

I think I might take a few weeks off work before starting this new gig.

I'll have about two weeks off before I am expected to start my new job as well. I'm excited. Not that I need it, but it'll allow me to get a few things done before jumping into a new career.
