Nope, not yet. Waiting till Monday/Tuesday next week before doing so. I wanna know whether CBA will pull through with their offer so I can compare. Hopefully. I'll be calling up the recruiter at about 10-11 am if he hasn't replied to my email beforehand.

Haha, stringing them along? Hope it doesn't backfire.

 

Did you just want 2 offers, or did you actually prefer CBA over Bankwest?

You said so yourself that CBA wasn't as good as Bankwest.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Not stringing them along, but waiting until I have too rather than signing straight away. I'm getting back to them on Monday/Tuesday next week which is what the recruiter told me.

 

From a bigger bank perspective, CBA is preferred and is closer to home (less than a 10 minute drive). On top of that CBA's head office is in NSW whereas Bankwest is in WA.
