Yeah I wouldn't recommend the coathanger as a go to solution. Its one of those "Everything else didn't work and I've got a coathanger laying around whats the worst that can happen" type scenarios.

Morning cubts. Getting crook, can feel the flu coming on. Munged down like half a bottle of vitamin C tablets. Might die. Will post updates.

I've mentioned this in previous GT's, not sure if you've seen it before Shaz, I'v got this I want to get rid off if you're interested:

+1

I've met a few off the forums and are all super nice and have been around each other a long time!

Hey man, never been a bit fan of Sils to be honest. The only one I half liked, was a mates one that had an RB25DET in it. That thing was loose as hell to drive. Looks clean though, not like the rest of the clapped out ones you see on Driftsales, etc.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I quite like the Silivias.

Bought my dad one years ago, JDM, and still going strong.

Fair enough. Mine is pretty clean, but I don't drive it often and would rather have money in the bank than it sitting there whilst I pay insurance + rego, otherwise I'd keep it as in this condition they are getting rarer and rarer.

I bought a Silvia once.

Removed the CA18DET and binned the rest, with the intention of putting it into my KE70. Should have done it.

Is the exhaust holding down the bootlid or is the boot lid holding up the exhaust?

I must know

Both.

The driver's seat is a lawn chair.

Hahhaa, it was both. Holding up the exhaust, and the boot shut at the same time.

Take the strap off, and the whole car would have fallen apart.

Wow, that sounds like an awesome car.

If only it did have the lawn chair front seat, and maybe a walkman for the fully sick stereo

Tax time !

I did last years only two days ago because slackcubt.

If you die, I think Gary might apply for your job. :P

Same down here, most Silvias, and a lot of R33s for that matter, are nothing more than a rolling bucket of sh1t.

Removed the CA18DET and binned the rest,

I would have binned the engine as well. IIRC these were also fitted to our Exa. Hated working on those things, could never get them to run smoothly. The SR20s were light years ahead and seemed very much like the silky smooth RB30.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yeah the CA18 was rubbish, but even as stock, it would have went like a bat out of hell in a KE70.

Finally decided to get internet hooked up at home, going around apartment doing my own Cat 6 sockets, fork yeah so easy, who needs an electrician. The sockets even come with a stripping and crimping tool.

Also I have like 4 phoneline outlets in my 2 bed apartment, what the hell.

When I move into my own house going to be putting these bad boys everywhere.

I wanted a targa top Exa at one stage, but was warned about the shitty engine.

Yeah. Just wasn't paying attention, talking away to my gf. The freeway goes 100, then 80 across a bridge and up a hill. He was just at the bottom of the hill afterwards. Just before it goes back to 90. Braked as much as I could, but anyway. Mistakes happen.

Yeah it happens, blame the girlfriend. Lol!

Neko, don't you have to be certified to do that? I don't see why it would be hard anyway, as long as you know what you are doing.

Also, why not just wifi?

Yeah she feels bad, wants to go halves on the fine.

I was thinking about fitting an oval muffler I have. But after that and some other issues with the car I need to fix in the service. I don't think I will.

Haha nah, not her fault. But nice of her to offer.

So going to sell the oval muffler for monies?

I still find my B4 too loud, especially after being in the outback, even with the ultrex mufflers on the H6, so nice, only gets a bit of noise over 3500rpm, when you open it up.
