Had that issue when I painted the manifold on my other car
It worked fine for about 3 months then all of a sudden I had some really weird issues
Not sure why it was delayed but yeah
Don't think I tightened the bolt all the way either lol

If you didnt wanna go new bushes simply grind a bit of the front bushes
Each side of the bush is marked exactly where to shorten it to

Any tips on using the VHT wrinkle paint? I'm tempted to do my manifold in black after seeing how good of a result you got. I did my old manifold in VHT's orange engine enamel but it chipped reaaaal easy.

Use a high heat primer
Put the base coat (the wrinkle) on really thick
Like just keep layering it on
And put it in the sun to bake for a few hours
Ideally you want to put it in an oven or similar
But not everybody can do that
The heat is actually what makes it wrinkle
It's a fairly tough coating but make sure it's had a few days to cure before you resemble the manifold so you don't chip it

Nice! Cheers for that. I think the missus might have a heat gun somewhere which would be ideal.
I hope you replaced the PCV valve in that last pic

Resembled the intake manifold

Installed the ks tech intake spacers with genuine gaskets on both sides
And reinstalled the manifold with longer bolts and Spring washers

The oil filler tube was full of shit and I cbf cleaning it
So a brand new one from Partsouq was like 20 bucks
Easy decision

Anything that comes in with a price declaration near $1k will have customs all over you. I used to have the same problem bringing in parts to build tube audio equipment. suuucks.
