I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I'm really happy with how the car went through the twistiew yesterday. Billies + swaybars make such a difference. I was genuinely surprised.

Did you fit the Billies?

Also, do you find them a little harsh of small bumps/ripples in the road?

I might add that it looks soooo much better without those spaz looking wheels.

Nah, has Bilsteins in it already (I think ex-GTB) and unknown springs (Maybe mark can answer that).

Not harsh at all. I found it to be a really nice balance between handling and comfort. I think I might just get some lower springs for it instead of coilovers.

Yeah, standard wheels look heaps better. Rubbish tyres though, not sticky at all. I think I might put some nice tyres on the 18's I have (225/45ish) and get them silver.

I find the factory Billies a little on the harsh side. I have used Koni in other cars and always found them excellent over all road surfaces.

There always seems to be mixed feelings regarding coilovers, I guess they need match the vehicle and be set up correctly to work. My mates offsider decided to fit coilovers (I have no idea what type) to his GenIII wagon despite my suggestion to try a set of std billies first.

I spent a bit of time in it over a couple of days, it rides like a horse drawn cart and it the most hash uncomfortable cubt of thing I have ever been in. Needless to say he is now looking at pulling them out.

They would look amazing, but to be honest, I don't think I will keep the car that much longer. There could be something on the horizons that going to require me purchasing a car that can tow, and the Outback isn't going to be able to do it, so it will likely go up for sells soon.

Is that finished product? They look really nice. I am not a fan of plastidip but I guess it may have its uses.
