How does it go now with the TD05 and ECU compared to before?

Thanks all, feel great to finally have a solid car. Just completed a trip to Kiama and back with some great mountain runs around Jamberoo

How does it go now with the TD05 and ECU compared to before?

I feel it's alot smoother than just with a standard ecu. The biggest plus is that the ECU uses the original boost solenoid so no need for a boost tee and it hits 14psi all day never over boosts. No problems with it at all, maybe just a little too much overfueling during deceleration causing poping of the exhaust

Mmm... Exhaust pop - personally I love it.

It usually indicates you've got an exhaust leak - can be tiny!

Cheers

Seeing as we made it all in house I'm not surprised haha, might take it off and have a look at it. But then again I love the noise aswell

The older ecus keep the injectors going on lift off to spray fuel into the cylinder to cool stuff down. Not good for economy but good for pops and farts. I vote leave it for more rally car noises

I hope my RS looks nearly as good as this one day! I think a respray would be in order to achieve this!

Your RS does look mint.

Keep us updated on the 6 speed install - I'm keen to know how you hook up the speed sensor ;)

Cheers

If its a gd box you can just plug the rs one in. Otherwise you can get a box that takes an abs wheel speed signal and generates a vss signal
