I was looking forward to seeing updates on this car :)

The black surround on the grill makes it look a little tougher imo.

I always thought the bootspace in the gen 5 was smaller looking from the outside but i stand corrected.

Looks tops mate, congrats on the pick up and the fact that you didn't have to hunt around for ages to find what you wanted!

Needs more lift though... Just saying!

Cargo barriers severely limit cargo carrying capacity with the seats down.

So do two kids seats...

The best thing you can do with that boot space once you've got a cargo barrier is build a setup that sits the pram up on its side.  Then you can add in other shelving if wanted/feel the need.  The whole thing can be done to still access the spare tyre without any trouble ;)

If the wife's car was a station wagon I'd have this done already (read: wife's next car WILL be a station wagon!).  Once you go wagon you don't go back I reckon!

Keep up the good work mate, car looks tops as it is ;)

Cheers

Bennie

My third too ;)
I just had a sedan in the middle there haha. Financially, it was the only way to make the wagon happen so I'm glad I did it.

Just like all Impreza "wagons" are really just hatchbacks.

Foz has A,B,C and D pillars, ergo wagon.

Lol Foresters definitely aren't hatches. Technically it'd be an SUV but I'm not American so it's a wagon.

Outback also seem to be classified as SUVs.

Forester and Liberty wagons have a tailgate opening that's flush with the floor; Impreza has a lip.
That's how I've always seen WRX as a hatch not a wagon.

So if a Foz is a wagon, what's an 'Soft Roader' ?

I think the nomenclature these days is 'crossover' being that soft roaders are really just raised hatches.

Bugger me I didn't realise that this is an argument. Foz = wagon in my book! Wrx and base impreza has always been a hatch to me...

Anyway, I'm over it. Sorry for starting an argument over a pointless first world "issue".
Cheers
