Thats news to me. I had to work my ass off to make a decently weekly wage in retail.
I do a whole lot less work now and make more than my best days in retail.

Full-time I assume? I worked in retail for five years on a casual rate. I missed out on all the perks but working public holidays, Thursday nights and weekends with all the bonuses and extra time involved made it worth my while. And I basically had no commitments apart from a mobile phone bill every month so I thought it was good, haha.
