I have to get up at 0500 for the 0700 I booked so I could get home early to get the kids. Now I don't need to pick them up.

Flight cancelled yesterday and cubt of a travel agent didn't let me know.
I now have a 4hr wait at the airport.

I should swim home, it would be faster.

Last time on the way over, two flights were cancelled.

There was a birthday breakfast organised for her side of the family this morning according to Jess. I get to her place at 8 am, call her and she's still asleep. She says, in a groggy voice, "Hi babe, didn't you get my message? The birthday breakfast is on Sunday morning."

 

Two seconds later I get a message explaining it is for Sunday morning, not Saturday morning.

 

Unless I'm somehow running around in my subconscious like the guys do in Inception, I'd like to think she forgot?

Not really Gaz, it's booked and paid for by work.
What really annoys me I planned an early flight this morning because it would have been touch and go to get the last one last night after work. The equipment I use for work was scheduled to be picked up earlier than I was first told and they rang yesterday to tell me to finish early and pack the gear.
Had I known this I would have book a flight for last night.
I think the airline cancelled this morning due to lack of bookings.

It was -2deg on the first drive out the airport this morning. Sounds like it's cold everywhere today. Canberra was -7 according to the news.
