Was farking hot the other day.

Towing with the RB saw the temp gauge move off halfway, not surprising seeing as outside temp was showing 43deg.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

True that. But I thought SubyClub is life?
Thanks mate.
I'm selling my Liberty this year. :(

Will this mean a name change is in order??

Tell me about it. Moving house in this weather is not fun by any measure.

Today's weather was pretty good in Bendigo until the sun managed to like it's burning heat through the clouds.

And finding a rental up here is forked. Lines out into the street for house inspections :/ Agents dicking us around. It's frustrating!

Stay safe in this heat and don't take your AC for granted!

Cheers

My gauge was all good but I think I've got to get a my air conditioning looked at. It was on 18 but felt like 30 coming out of the vents...

I think we're getting a break with some cooler weather...

I don't like it.  We had the heating on last night in Bendigo!!

I'm not liking the rain we've been having either - simply because we're moving house and things are wrapped in tarps that I can't guarantee are water tight :(

The brumby's been getting a work out with the move and has taken it in its stride.  Even with a leak in the radiator just before the thermos kick in it's managed to keep its cool with the fans on all the time to get around this issue.

Biggest issue was a dead dizzy module caused by a dead coil.  Killed a new module working that one out.  Mega frustrating and lost half a day plus about $75 in the module.

Looking forward to some warmer weather but not the blazing Australian Summer; that can bugger off for this year!

Cheers

Bennie

It's not rained here, yet. I'm sure it's coming but I woke up this morning with my missus wrapped in a blanket and 15°C on my phone. So good considering the heatwave we have experienced up here for the past couple of weeks.

Working, haha. And I offered to stay back for another 30 minutes this arvo to help the boys move some cars out on the yard. If it weren't for me moving the Kia Stingers, I wouldn't stay back.

Doesn't really like the hill climbs from Sunbury through to just past Macedon but it does really well overall for a 1.8 litre!

Time to update the build thread...

Cheers

The battery drained in the WRX. I think my Dash Camera didnt turn off when the voltage dropped below 12.1v. It drained the forker to 2.8v after 5 days (it gets parked 5 days of the week). I've never had a car go completely dead. I had to use the emergency key to unlock it.

Other than a jump pack, which I don't have. Or roadside assistance. Where it was parked it was easier to just change the battery. I don't know if the original battery is recoverable, the fluid levels look ok.

I changed the dash camera to work off the cigar fuse for now. It can't be trusted. I might look into a trickle charger when the house is completed.

Dash cameras are meant to switch off automatically when voltage drops too low? Can you put them on a timer as well when the car is switched off or does it not have that functionality?

Well mine did work that way for 18 months. The reviews on the model (Cowon AW2) say it's a common failure point. I've noticed that it overheats on hot days too.

I'm also having trouble accessing the settings with the Android App at the moment. So I'll try an iPhone tonight.

It still says it's recording. Will check the cards later. I can live with that for now. I can't sink anymore money into the issue.

Our land settles on Tuesday.

Congratulations man. Smooth process so far? When are you starting construction?

I'll be going through the motions for our property in a couple of months too. Exciting times ahead.
