Way too quiet around here.

Not much. Work has pretty much taken up my time and I am still waiting for completion of our property. Should be moving in in October/November from the latest correspondence we've had.

Sounds good Liberty.

@barbachello - how does the extension trick work? I'm trying to pull the gudgeon pins out. The hex plugs are already out.

I've done nothing other than sit on the couch with "man flu" after my awesome day in the shed :/

Cheers

Epic snow weather happening down here. Would be a sweet season to be working in the high country again!

I say snow weather but it's not snowing - it's just the type of weather charateristics that indicate snow in the alps. Best indicator is strong gusty wind, rain period then sunshine followed by rain again and this continues while the mercury is 12*C or less. Rain is generally light rather than heavy smashing rain.

I'd love to see it happen down here! And it can happen. There are photos of the Sunbury train station under a blanket of snow in 1936! It's snowed at m&d's in the Macedon Ranges quite a number of times, best was in '91 when it stuck around for three days :D

Today I was chatting to a mate who lives in Bendigo and he said it's snow type weather up there.

I do know it's cold in Melb and my gas bill is nuts!

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I'd love to be out 4wd touring in this weather if I could, love it even though it's so wet and cold. I guess that's part of the challenge. I need new tyres as roadies won't cut it anywhere other than the black top atm :(

Gary*

Welcome back Rosberg.

Is the Facebook group still going strong?

Nope it's forked.

All they do is talk shit about tyres and post vids of V8s and rotarys ripping skids.

Too true.

Haha, Rosberg the little fucker kicked me out of the group chat.

Expected I guess. Anyone can join and I have found that Facebook groups are a lot harder to moderate than forums.

Hehehe... Bookface. They must be on the way down with members - they've started advertising on our TV down here to encourage new members to join up. Very odd.

It's amazing how the usual questions get asked every week almost without fail... Yet on a forum an easy search would have your answers there already.

Just saying.

Yeah, but seems US/Canada still use forums. I found a good fb page for track 86s but trying to search for info on it is hard.

I know on other pages they copy the text to a forum if there is a helpful thread. Still, when a q is asked they are normally advised to check this forum, especially for TT.
