Had one last night. Pretty delish :)

 

Found it down at a bottle-o I'd never been to before. I guess they would only ever have Geelong products? Or would Freo ship some out there too?

Geelong is now supplying east Coast with Pale ale and Bright.  Freo used to supply the whole country with all LC's beers.  Hence Geelong was built.  Freo couldnt keep up with demand.

Even still we are basically out of stock on just about all lines.  Still cant meet demand.

Any special christmas beers being had lads?

Ive got Rogues "Santas special reserve ale" and a pint of LC's last single batch "Mr Obidiah", to enjoy with christmas lunch.

Then IPA's, Pales and White Rabbit Dark ale's for later.

I wish I could say yes, but I made the same rookie mistake as Ash.

Forgot to stock up yesterday.

 

I did find a Budweiser that I bought for the missus a couple of days ago. Being the great wife she is, she let me drink it. :)

 

 

 

I feel that tonight I will be offered one of these,

My father in law likes the Aldi beer (if you could call it beer) because it's cheap, and the light is cheaper still.

 

Maybe he is punishing me for rooting his daughter?

So the Rogue was a bit meh.

The Obadiah however, Oh My forking God, soooo good. Perfectly paired with christmas pudding. We forking nailed that beer.

Yep. Rye Porter. Think Chocolate, nutty and with a bit of residual sweetness. And a bitterness similar to that of a good quality 70-80% dark chocolate.

you might struggle to find any Jase.  It was a single batch released in about July.  Ask Josh about them.  He smashed about 3 (out of the 12) of the fuckers that I took down to MDSC, in about 30 minutes.
