Give it a few weeks Adam.  Also the labelling will change.  Its pretty bright yellow at the moment, but its going back to more like it was originally.  Sort of a burnt orange

Its definitely better Adam.   We're all looking forward to having it as our knock off beer.  Pale is a bit too heavy after work sometimes, and the Pilsner doesn't always float the flavour boat.  The Bright never gets a look in.    Until now.

Just had a 2% "Unstout".  Weird beer.  Really nice hop aroma, but no body to carry off the astringency from the roasted malts.  And there is literally no finish.  Once the mouthful is gone there is pretty much no sign on the palate that you've even drunk it.

Not a terrible beer, just a little confusing. 

 

Its a collaboration between Englands Cromarty brewing Co. and Craig Allan ( whom I don't know of.)  I think its one of those "because we can" kind of beers.

i used to drink a shitload of Kronenburg when I was living in England.  not a bad big brewery lager.

Hahaha yeah the french are crazy for tiny stubbies. We used to get this really cheap french lager from Tesco's. they came in miniture VB stubbies. Youd smash a crate of them in a session.

So Creatures managed to get 4 beers into the hottest 100. Pale claimed 3rd again, behind Feral Hop Hog and Stone and Wood Pacific ale .....again. Cool to have the IPA come in, in 5th.

So stoked about the Pale though. Still such a good beer.

But do yourselves a favour and get some Mountain Goat summer ale. Its like S&W pacific ale, but it comes in cans. Which means it tastes a load fresher by the time it gets west. Which is the only thing that lets down Pacific ale when drinking here.
