Hi, Highly likely, the worry is for anything that is brought into an eastern states shelf, we may not have a big population but we have a big bloody country. A lot of alcohol is tainted making it's way west. Cheers, Nik

Lol, he obviously had to choose between power and Tokyo... clearly he choose the right one!!

Hel & Verdoemenis (Hell & Damnation), insanely nice.... Toffee, caramel, dark choc, heavy malt. For a dash over 10% the alc is very well hidden.

The head was amazing... like liquid toffee (I didn't pour for head, it just exploded... don't worry tho, it didn't go to waste, I slurped it up off the coffee table, Barney stylez)

This was at least 5 mins later

Was extremely impressed with this one...

Hi,

Nice work Buzz, that really has me feeling like cracking out a Tokyo or something else in my collection. Might do that for the derby today.

Went to Cowaramup Brewing Co.'s fourth annual beer dinner last night. Was awesome, the best one I've been to, and the best $100 I've spent in a very long time.

Cowaramup Brewing Company will be hosting an exclusive four course dinner
pairing food with the five Cowaramup hand crafted beers.

The evening will be hosted by Jeremy Good along with some of
Western Australia’s best craft brewers

Menu

Sauteed scallops over a tomato bruschetta finished with rockette & goat cheese

Venison carpaccio with kalamata olives & capers

Beef rendang served with aromatic jasmine rice, pappadums & chutney

Mocha pudding with The Grove Vineyard chocolate liqueur sauce

It was really nice to actually play a part in the evening this time around, me and my good friend are the only two people that have attended every Beer Dinner since the concept started. So them using my liqueur for the dessert was very cool.

Cheers,
Nik

Hi, Bismark. For 150 odd dollars a bottle, it would want to be liquid gold - but it isn't. It's pretty awful really. Cheers, Nik

Hi again, Just incase you guys are not familiar, this is a great series; and I think if you are into beer you should see this. You can watch full episodes somewhere but I cannot find the link. This is one of the better sections for people that think beer making is difficult, as James May would say... 'it just isn't'! Cheers, Nik

Only heard a little bit about it (that its 60%). Dunno what type it is, and will wait to find out. If its dark and spent a good deal of time contained within oak, I might give it a shot.
