Picked up some Steelhead Extra IPA and Double IPA by Mad RIver brewing in California...

The IPA was ok but not bitter enough for me (yes brett...) but the Double IPA was bang on.Very good.

NSW pints are the same as WA pints...., I dont know why this myth has started to say otherwise.

The Pale Ale I had was nice, strong aroma but nothing special to drink, just a nice easy drinking beer.

The dark ale tasted like it had a lot of chocolate malt, was tasty though, prefered it over the pale ale.

They had no Belgian ale at that time ..

Bullshit they are. There are a few pubs in Syd that do proper UK pints but I went to a few places that I honestly LOL'd when they gave me a 'pint' and it turned out to be a mini-man-gay-boy pint.
