So, these happened recently.

Buy one (didn't ask price), bring back and they'll refill for a discount.

Are they growlers?

Think the local does something similar. I should check it out.

New Creatures single batch is pretty good. Red IPA. I had a pint after work today. 50 IBU's (measured, not guessed), loads of dry hopping, and a nice malt flavour that isnt too heavy on the palette. 6.4%abv. Sessionability is yet to be tested.

Sig worthy.

So had a bit of a night last night. As it was my last day in packaging the boys thought it a good idea we went down to the brewery for a few. Then we headed to the Sail as Feral brewing had a tap take over. 15 taps of Feral. Ended up drinking the night away with Brendan Varis and Will Irving from Feral, and Paul from The Monk. I was on the Fanta Pants. 7.4% of heavy hopped AIIPA. Even though the keg was about 4 weeks old (according to Steve - another Feral guy- not sure what his position is though) it still had plenty of hop aroma.
Mitch from Hopco ( or is it Hop products Australia?) was there too Nik. Had a bit of a chat with him.
Got to put back a few with my new colleagues which was really good.

Didn't get home till midnight, which made yesterday a long one for me. 4 am start. Fell asleep on the train on the way home. God that train trip back from Freo sucks. 2 hours all up with the train swap in the middle.

Sig worthy.

Hi,

What is the point of knowing someone that works at LC if we still have to buy it ourselves?

Some mate you are.

:)

Cheers,
Nik

I concur. I'd like a case delivered every Monday. :)

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Hi,

To be honest I used to get awesome results just by putting an extra grommet on the flip lid so it sealed up tighter.

It's only 1.5L of beer anyway... (maybe 2?)

Cheers,
Nik

I like that kick starter idea

2ltr for growler, 1 for squealer. I've not used mine in ages.

Went on a beer tour thing again on the weekend with some of the lads from work (went with brewers dray again). Lots of beer as normal. Was nice. I think the only 'special' beer was at feral and it was, iirc, a hop hog and white blend. Quite nice.

Stuff goes here
