Sydney guns have like a 0.000000000005% hit rate...... Drop bears have a 100% hit rate... if one wants you, you are 'ed.Better than Sydney. It's crawling with guns.

Hi Ash,
Indeed it is, mate! Really looking forward to it. I think a house warming partayyy might be in order.
Also, I'm taking my bed over there... Fresh bed.

QUESTION.
Can anyone recomend a line that lasts more than 1m on a concrete edge? I have about 60m of edging that is against concrete, and it takes a LONG time!

Adam, the stuff I use is called 'Supercore'...2.4mm thick. It's awesome, but what you are doing chews line. The beauty of the Stihl set-up I have is the self feeding head...you just keep motoring, it keeps feeding.
A mate of mine on a farm uses this weird, twisted dual line stuff...he swears by it, but it's too thick/heavy for most domestic machines.

Yeah, my machine is a pretty weak hand-me-down
I've been using the littl Juey, it's great. Apart from the concrete. Plus I'm using shit and thin.8 line. But I'm going to use it up first, I'm putting 2 lengths in at a time ATM. Works pretty well. But still gets chopped by concrete!
Stihl head sounds awesome!

That really is an awesome pad dude.
I will suggest you get a shit load of chooks as mini tractors. They were all I needed to prep my mini orchard for planting (it does take a while though) and they'd soon have that area that was under leaves sorted...
Obviously, foxes can be a problem, but with all the drop bears about, you should be fine.
portugese_gorilla 08 Feb 2013
Well theres your problem right there, try using some thats atleast 2mm thickI'm using shit and thin .8 line.

Once I get the new shed put up I think I'm going to have to add to the love of this thread. 6.2W x 9.1L x 2.7H (20x30x9 in the old speak)
