Those Rods are comparable to a mini engine haha

It looks as if you could make a Mini engine from the steel in these rods.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Cheers,

Hi,

Ugh. Frustrating. I'd wager if they had to pay to get them fixed themselves they'd take a bit more care.

Cheers,
Nik

Nik, how goes the juey? I'm tossing up between one and a new head that you wind line onto, but don't have to pull apart to do so...

Hi,

Lil JewBoy is absolute winner. I just ordered two more.

You don't have to be locked in to their line, you can just buy heavy grade line from a supplier and cut it to length. The boys working here have been praising it ever since I bought it!

For reference we bought the steel units. They are running a special right naaaoooo.

Cheers,
Nik

Hi,

Lines last well, once they ran out though we have been happy using some HD diamond line cut to length. Lasts a hell of a lot longer than a wind on reel.

You can get a much neater finish and you don't need to rev anywhere near as hard as with a full head.

They clean down very neatly and once you've used one for a while you will find precision work easier.

One bloke just said he reckons we're using less fuel? I think that might be a placebo.

It's a nice unit.

Cheers,
Nik

Thanks for the detailed reply, might get one this weekend.

It's only $30. Not like I've lost my life savings if it turns out to not suit my needs!

Hi,

Holy smokes, 16ft span! That's awesome! Especially being able to retract and just use as a single front deck. I need to win lotto!

Alright. So this is the new bachelor pad, for those that haven't seen it before;

Posted Image

As you can see, there's a lot of clearing still to do. I want to make that tree'd area out the back into parkland style - if anyone has any advice on seeding some type of grass that can cope living in that sort of shade, let me know!

Posted Image

View from the jacuzzi. Clean that up, just brush cutter methinks. And a stick pick. So many sticks!

Posted Image

Posted Image

I'll prune these up, and just beyond these trees there's a lazy half acre that I want to plant some fruit trees in. I can tap into the vineyard irrigation quite easily as there is a solenoid point right on the edge of it.

This was what I was talking about yesterday with LEAVES...

Posted Image

SO MANY LEAVES!

Posted Image

Unfortunately they've been sitting for so long, it's all pretty much dead or hardened moss under there!

Cheers,
Nik
