I think it makes it a bit plain, needs a contrast, but each to their own :)

if its from the passenger side head and theres coolant leaking too you could have a blown head gasket man.
my my02 rx has the same problem and in the same area, took it to a subaru specialist and he pointed out blown head gasket straight away, quoted me 2 grand to get it fixed and i'm getting it done on monday, 4 days off the road and the whole engine has to come out, very common with EJ25s for this to happen :(

ps. ur ride looks awesome, certainly have provided some inspiration for me

coming from the head? or the rocker cover?

rocker cover isnt too bad

head gaskets on ej25's suck

if your not sure where its coming from degrease your engine, and then go for a drive, you should be able to pin point where its coming from

TURBOOOOOOOOOO

i had the idea of doing a conversion but realised how much more insurance will cost, finding someone reliable to do it, sourcing a decent engine etc.

in the long run i feel like its too much stuffing around so i may aswell just get the thing fixed and leave it at that

Yep, turbo conversion +1! However, do the research before deciding - theres more to the turbo models than meets the eye. Its not just a turbo motor thats different.

Cheers,
Ben

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

in terms of your dash lights being changed, did you ever change the power/hold, cruise control and fog light switches?
if so which globes did you use and how did you actually change them??

Thanks for that, but I was actually intending to weld a shield to the top of the pipes.
That would cost me $0. B)
