Gents,

Left to do

- Get exhaust sorted out
- Registration (Ran out 5 days ago)
- Suss out Check Engine Light and ABS light
- Speed Sensor for gearbox
- Paint woeful interior woodgrain matte black
- Put Nardi Steering wheel on (Not sure if i'll do this yet, because it doesn't have an airbag)

So some pictures are in order...

Completed product (Almost)

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

When my speedo sensor crapped out it threw up a CEL. Hopefully that's all it is.

Yeah, can't imagine it being anything serious. The Subaru scanner won't let me turn the ABS light off, so im going to do a full reset of the ECU.
Hopefully that'll clear it up.

I didn't have an o2 sensor connected last night either, so fingers crossed thats why its throwing out the check engine light.

Cheers,
Shazza

Lol at ecu plug.
To get rid of the abs fault you need to bridge the 5v power supply wire for the G sensor to one of the two ABS-TCU wires. This is done at the ABS unit under the bonnet. The two wires are next to each other.

Flashing CEL is because the green/black connectors are plugged in when they shouldn't be.

Yeah I couldn't believe it Al. I looked at it, plugged it in, and it fired straight away. Hahaha.

Cheers for all the help over the phone though Al, I went through and redone everything. Loom is perfect, all windows work, all lights, even my reverse lights work now, which they didn't before.

I'm pretty happy with the 16s Morganus. Light, black, and cheap on tyres. Hahaha.

Went upto the workshop earlier, the coolant hose from the coolant reservoir where you top it up, has sprung a leak. Must a been the 8000rpm dump :-)

Got a new genuine hose from Subaru coming Monday. Also making up a custom dump pipe. Has a 3" mandrel bent MRT item off the back of the turbo, which then has a flange to a high flow cat, then I'm going to cut the xforce dump pipe I have now to custom fit the rest of it. Catalytic convertor will be at the back of the engine next to the gearbox, with a flex pipe, much like the standard dump. Allows for the o2 sensor to go in original location too. I'm going to run a side pipe for a few days until I have an injection of funds to get the full 3" system done up.

Can't wait for April 10 meet.

Anyone have any techniques to give the factory woodgrain a once over in black? Sand back, prime and paint?

nah i like it on my desk :P

yeah mate i have no need for it anymore

Can I grab it off you tonight or tomoz morning?
How much you want for it? PM if need be.

Cheers,
Shazza

you will need a blue slip for change of engine. won't just be able to re-rego it with a pink slip.

Haven't done the ABS yet, heading up now. I'll let ya know if I find a place. You don't have a bottom coolant resivour hose do ya Jamie? The one that goes from the silver coolant reservoir to the block?

usually they go off - per modification.

i think mine was around $600 mark? that covered - bonnet, wheels, tyres, brakes, manual box (auto originally), turbo motor, exhaust, suspension, seats.
