See that's the thing.. i'm seriously worried about over-spooling and blowing up the VF38, cause it has a titanium shaft and it's twin scroll, the cheapest replacement I could find in AUS is GCG and they want $5000.00 for it!, and $2200.00 just to repair it :(

I still haven't even removed the resonator on the intake yet

Was gonna say, I don't think the Outbacks were really setup correctly for road handling.

The fact that they are jacked up high on narrow tyres from factory isn't the right combo for handling, more for climbing.

But Nik has a racing Outback. Completely different.

for some reason the B4 felt more agile than the GT does.

That's because the standard GT has sheit suspensions. This will fix that:

I agree with the B4 statements, It feel a lot more 'on-edge' and feels like it wants to kill you all the time compared to a Gen 4. The Gen 4's seem to hug the road more rather than wanting to get the rear end out like the B4.

Bilsteins will greatly improve the handling. Stock theyre a bit bouncy in the rear. I fitted JDM Billies with STi pinks for a 25mm drop and its much better.

Dont paint the stockies, sell them and get some nice 18" CS9 rims under there. Just so happens I have one set left with no gutter marks. ;)

Mods sound good, just add an oem sports mesh grill to finish the front off. :D

MORE CS9's ?

Go for something different I say. There are so many better options out there than the CS9's, it amazes me how wet a set of CS9's gets people sometimes...

yeah i'm with Dylan here. i definitely think you can do better than CS9's. Obviously it's all personal preference but i've never been a fan of those wheels

Just to name a few.

I once thought CS9's were nice.

Get fisho on here to share some wheel love, he's certainly given me a good idea of whats good and whats not when it comes to rims!
