Another couple of DIYs today. Did the calipers black, and also removed all the mud guards off both sides of the car. Looks a lot cleaner and neater.

They'll look better when I wait for the paint to set and give the car a wash..

Calipers look good.

I'm not a huge fan of them. Mainly cause I'm more going for the street look not so much the off road look. I'll leave them off for a little while and if I feel like it's missing something, they'll go back on.
But yeah the black looks way better on the brake calipers.

Just needs to go lower. Ha

I'm not buying anything else for it now. Save for some decent coil overs.

Sweet! Did you have to get behind the roof lining?

Grille looks mad too! You going to badge it?

Yeah I ended up taking everything off to get above the roof lining. Wasn't too bad.
And I'm not sure if I want to put a badge on the front.
Might just leave it. I was thinking of putting the 2.5 badge on the front. Not too sure though.

Not a bad effort with the grill.

How'd the roof rails come off? Did you have to fill in any holes in the roof?

Cheers shiv. I think it looks pretty cool.
Yeah I have to fill the holes. I'll either buy some plugs from Clark rubber or somewhere, or fill them and paint over.
I have just cut out some ice cream container plastic and superglued the pieces onto the underside of the roof. Just so that dew or rain doesn't get in.

I'm partial to your current wheels, but after you get the coilovers sorted, I'd suggest some wide spoke deep dish, nothing says street like a bit of dish.

Plus low riders code; If thou dumps thy car, thou must pledge to fill thy wheel guards.Posted Image
Practical is not it, attention ***** yes is.

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump? :P

Yeah I think a little bit of change would do the car some good. I don't want it too low, just a little bit more. But I suppose with adjust. coilovers I will have the flexibilty. I'd like to grab some of those gold sti rims.

Narp...the outback is never going to be fast, so just dump it, and go for massive rims, gold sti wheels would look shite, they'd suit if it were all white, but not the two-tone scheme you're running atm.

Hell I like what you're doing with the car Sam, but if you're going to go custom look with the grill, debadging, deleted racks etc, don't go half-ass, and put OEM rims on.....go on, you know you want massive rims, AussieTemplar will help me out with this one.
