Hey Aek,

Do you have room for a passenger?

Cheers,

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

yeah mate noob friendly for sure :)

you should come down and we can be team silver wagon.

you just rock up and register and get into it. it's a good idea be to informed so have a bit of a read of their website (http://wakefieldpark.com.au) to familiarize yourself with the rules of the track, warning flags and safety procedures.

Also have a bit of a look at the track as it's good to know the circuit you'll be driving on.

Look here for a more detailed map: Wakefield Park

If you drive smart you'll have no problems regarding coming together with another car. it's not a race so you just go around at your own pace. if a faster car comes up behind you simply yield to the outside of the track or off the racing line and let them pass (there's no overtaking allowed through corners).

One of the reasons we're going on Monday is it's one of the quieter days so hopefully there won't be to much traffic on the track.

Here's a good clip of a typical speed off the street day (includes some passing)

Then how the big boys do it (Hankook Time Attack Car)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7SqxhuqJI0

How would some of you guys feel if i signed in as a passanger for the day and jump in for a few rides???

they don't allow passengers during speed off the street sessions unfortunately mate. only instructors are allowed. during private days or race meets they can be allowed

I'll be coming onto the highway either picton road (skydive centre/Wollongong turn off) or bargo (next entrance) but I still don't know if I'll be coming, have to decide if it's worth risking doing damage to my engine, which may already be sick as it is!
