faulken RS' apparently they have 3-5 track days left in them, gonna take a spare set of brake pads too, and hope i dont need to change them on the day... How much wear do you usually put on yours?

haha i thrashed a brand new set of Bendix ultimates last time we were down! Put them in Friday, tracked them Monday, changed them Tuesday.

5:30am leave Dee Why. Ben and Shaz, we go over the spit, then through the harbour tunnel and onto the M5 all the way down.

7:00am past picton

8am Sutton Forest Maccas

9am Wakefield

Mark and Grant if ya wanna meet up on the road let me know and we'll try and coordinate that, otherwise see ya at Sutton Forest

I think I might have to give it a miss man, I'm taking my car out to get the zorst done on the Monday I think.

By the looks of that we'll leave about 4:30, looks like gives us an hour spare, for food stops and fuel stops and traffic, not that we should get much.

By the looks of things we should end up being with in 5-10mins of each other anyway. I'll keep you updated on monday via txt how were doing for time, When are you planning on doing fuel stops? if any? I'll be filling up in sydney somwhere, and then was hoping to top up at suttons forest maybe or even just before the track?

sounds like a plan. i normally just fill up at sutton forest then drive back into Goulbourn halfway through the day (10 minutes from the track) and do another top up

be very careful with slicks on otherwise stock suspension, the grip levels are phenomenal. the amount of stress you will put on everything else can be dangerous!

good fun though, feels like almost impossible grip

Sounds good aek, got your msg, was just spray painting i think i'll get through the track on a tank of fuel, although sometimes when im lowish on fuel and take corners quick i get like a fuel cut for a few seconds, so we'll see how it goes.


Thanks for the advice alex, i'll be taking it easy at first until im used to it hopefully on a monday it shouldnt be too hard to find parts if something does get broken
