if you buy the same series front cut it will all bolt in, very easy conversion if you have some mechanical skills

you can get front cuts from $1500 these days
id be looking for a low km one if you are getting a twin turbo

I'm pretty sure this is what most people do with NA gen1/2/3 conversions?

Hey mate, this sort of thing has been done many times before. Take a look through the Builds and Projects area of the Lib / Legacy forum - quite a few people have done this sort of thing!

Get an early sti halfcut...don't bother with the twins...they are nothing but a pain.

Give AM Auto a call re- pricing and what needs to be done. They are in Noosaville so not too far for you.

^^ +1.

If you are keen to go down that path...

After the cost of the half cut the labor will cost you anywhere from $2500+ depending where you go and the shop will generally need the car for a week or so.

Give these guys a call for more info:

note that most people don't waste their time with the TT and go for things like a V3/V4 STI or newer cut
