Ta mate. The window trims take a bit of work.

The trim under the window unscrews from the inside once you remove the door trim.

The trim under the fixed side glass pops off gently with a flatblade screwdriver.

The top rails take a fair bit more. Grab a cordless drill and a deep 8 or 10mm socket (i camt remember which size). You need to pull the rubver trim on the a and b pillar off. To get the clips without busting them use sidecutters to grab them and pop them up. Once theyre off you will see the 20ish screws to undo.

There are 3 nuts under the trim in the rear to get too. Be careful to be gentle with the inner trim as theyre easy to snap. to get the a pillar trim off you have to pry them towards the outside of the car, as there are three fragile plastic trim clips under there.

Top stuff Marv.
I have to say I was skeptical with the choice of red at first, but I admit it's definitely grown on me :). Can't wait to see how this turns out with 6 speed goodness inside!

The colour of three day old menstrual fluid is only bettered by the colour of six day old menstrual fluid, or in Iain's case - fresh arterial bleeding.

In a Jack-the-ripper kind of way... I'm diggin' the colour.

We'll show the youngins how these old girls boogie at the Mech Day, eh Alex? ;) :D

Wanna tell you a story
'Bout a wagon I know
Ah, come to launchin'
Ooh, she steals the show
She ain't exactly pretty
Ain't exactly small
EJ20, and a filthy DCCD six
You could say she's got it all!

Never had a wagon
Never had a wagon like you

Doing all the things
Doing all the things you do

Ain't no fairy story
Ain't no skin and bone
But you give it all you got
Weighing in at 1450kg

You're a whole lotta wagon
A whole lotta wagon
Whole lotta Rosie...

Great read, and love the build,

although (only my opinion, so not worth much), I much rather the original burgundy colour over the red.. the red looks good, don't get me wrong.

The only let down is that it's a wagon.. hahaha, (do anything to get the wagon boys - Alex, blowing up).

Always liked the Gen 1 libs, there is a certain appeal about them, much better than the Gen 2.. (once again waiting for Alex)

Runs? as in Runs in paint? or when a person moves their legs fast? or the car doesn't run? or the new real estate agency called "Runs", or the slang for diahrrea?, or the slang for Racing down the 1/4 mile?

And if I remember correctly, (if it is the latter) The B4 built by myself here, driven by a guy that can't drive, annihilated your wagon by many car lengths when cruising from Con's house :P

Back-yard mod sedans FTW.

As in the natural phenomena of what will happen with your intestinal tract as I out accelerate you on a fourty to fourty five degree angle with all four wheels losing traction.

Perhaps you need more oil in your pod on your "modded" car.

It's a 20-footer paint job, and yes there are runs in the tailgate and on one door.

Also, some gronk backed into the rear bumper on sunday afternoon. Didn't leave a note, but FUBAR'd the bar. Thanks, champ.
