Hey,

This is OUTBACK

Engine/Driveline
  • EZ30D H6 3.0L
  • 4-Speed Auto
  • Vehicle Dynamics Control" (VDC)
  • After market Cat-Back Exhaust (unaware of brand .... I asked for 'Something that sounds nice but not over the top') - and that is what i got.
  • Self leveling rear suspension
  • Variable sensitivity steering
Interior
  • Leather trim
  • Momo steering wheel (wood)
  • Electroluminescent DEFI dash cluster
  • 'Moon Roof' (Stuffed motor i think) as well as Sunroof
  • Replaced with LED Map lights + Dome light
  • 8-way electric drivers seat
  • Custom Black Dash Kit
Exterior
  • 'Pearl' White
  • White side indicator lens.
  • Chrome orange indicators side and rear
  • 20% tints - Thanks to The Shaz Bangah
  • De-badged front 'H6-3.0' side 'Outback' and rear 'AWD' + 'Outback' - Gen 4 OUTBACK badge installed.
  • Personalised Plates, Black writing on white back - SU • 88 • BY
  • SubyClub.com Decal, of course.
  • LED parkers - H7 HID's - Yellow vinyl wrap on fogs with h3 halogen bulbs
  • Enkie Rs-7's
  • Gen3 Rev D/E Liberty Grille
Audio
  • Clarion head unit CZ 501ER - CD, AUX, USB, Bluetooth connection to phone on start up for music or hands-free.
  • Clarion 4 Door Speakers + tweeters.
  • Clarion Sub woofer WG 3010 900 W 12" (30.5 cm)
  • Clarion 4/3/2 Channel Power Amplifier(blew up) + Mono Power Amplifier for Sub
Would love a Double Din touch screen... (low on the list for now).

Wish List
  • GT Rims
  • Gen3 Rev D/E Liberty Grille
  • GTB Rear Wing
  • Satin Black dash Kit
  • Lowness
  • Gen4 Lib wagon :P
I bought it just before Easter 2011 for $8.6k with 211,000 odd K's on it, result of a budget. Nevertheless cheering that I chose her over a Commie Wagon, drives beautifully and I feel quite privileged to have all those little Luxury features at the age of 17. Though the Liberty Sedan option would have been a lot more fun on the streets, I was after a wagon as I had a 1 tonne Rodeo and appreciated more space for transporting.

Before the Outback I'd rank myself a complete car n00b, though due to Suby Club perhaps just semi-n00b now. Massive learning curve from this car, which will give a much more educated choice on my next car, though i'll probably be looking at a Hilux for work eventually. =/

Anyhow I shall keep this updated with its overall progress.

Cheers,
Steve

Before I bought it.

I think I need a de-lifted, 6-speed/R180-equipped EZ30 Outhouse to replace the RS wags in a few years time... :)

This one is seriously neat. Couldn't believe its condition at Morgs' place

In other news, HIDs are in!, cept the fogs, think the ballast is rooted and its too hard to install plus quite unnecessary as i'd then have 2 sets :S

Dunno if Chris' one will suit the Outback! Maybe if it was slammed and on dish...?!

That first one looks good but they don't post overseas :(
