Not trying to get too off topic but I don't see why people worry so much about track days. You drive as hard or as soft as you want. You certainly don't need brembo's, 6spds, built engines to enjoy a track day. Just have some fun without having to worry about loosing your licence, and when you make a mistake you won't end up in a tree or telegraph pole.
Your mates workshop would also have tools?

I agree in part about track days, but some people need their mechanical awareness brought up to spec. While you or I could do a bunch of track days in dead stock cars, maybe someone who doesn't know they need their oil or brake pads changed beforehand should be clued up?

Can also supply car for mods/inspection
My main reasons for not doing track days are the cost, not just the up front cost, but oil, brakes, tyres. And personally the risk is too high IMO for me to do some sort of damage to my car that cant be fixed quickly.
If my car is stuffed. I have no way to get to work.

That's fair enough Adam, I was in the same boat, that's why I got my wagon, but for how many times I hit the track I'll take the risk with an evo or STI. Your probably better off to save your money and not buy sway bars etc.

Sorry Mark, don't really get this logic... The Wagon is like a boat on the road, especially in the rear end.
Just because i don't track the car, doesn't mean i don't enjoy twistes quite often, I'm lucky to have lots around my area As well as nice high speed corners.

My logic is that unless your pushing your car to the abosolute limit and then want to push more their isn't a need to upgrade. I highly doubt a Sunday afternoon cruise through twisties would be as spirited as a few laps on the track.
currently your car handles like a boat because you have mcrooted struts, and worn out bushes.
the new struts will make a big difference, aswell as replacing the bushes. You can't expect a car to perform to any standards when it's faulty.

Should work out cheaper than those prices. Also, there's a Whiteline group buy in the FS section.

Wagons love sway bars. THEY NEED SWAY BARS!
I really don't understand some of you... Whats the general consensus here? Afraid of modding? I know everyone is all for bang-for-buck, but seriously, if you realise your car isn't handling as well as you'd want it to, why not take the measures to upgrade it?
Its your car at the end of the day.
Me, I'd rather drive a car I'd enjoy driving every day, rather saying "yeah, I don't track it, it drives like shit, but I'll just put up with it..."
fuckthat!!

Personally I would never go back to the standard swaybars in the B4, thing handled like a boat full of illegal immigrants.
Instant smiles once I had fitted the WL adjustables. As I have said, still the best bang for buck mod I have made to my car. Hands down.
