Are wheels spacers off Ebay dodgey and cheap?
Will my wheels fall off or do wheels bearings with spacers?
I'm only after some 10mm slip ons.

10mm is too big on stock studs, biggest you can do 'safely' is 5mm (thou alot run 8mm with no worries).
Get some extended studs and run whatever size you want.
I use a bloke in Canada called "Novus Tech", alot of options and ships fairly quick - and most of his spacers are hub centric too.
You won't doing anything to wheel bearings.

jimbob, can you send me a link to exactly what you believe I should get then. I think 10mm will make my rims sit absolutely flush with guard.

I've got;
10mm (amongst other sizes) slip on, hub centric spacers; http://novustech.ca/...5x100-cb56-1mm/ or on eBay http://www.ebay.com/...85f1ff0&vxp=mtr
ARP extended studs (set of 20 and free shipping from the US); http://www.ebay.com/...83fe423&vxp=mtr
If you get the extended studs, you can run upto a 30mm (or is it 40mm?..) spacer then.

I've seen spacers destroy bearings and more. Especially if they aren't perfect, perfectly machined/balanced/weighted. Also they are a defect on QLD roads, but you probably already know.

Sure did, Had an awesome day!
Stayed on track for the whole 1hr 30mins without any dramas, no brake fade nothing. Even let my gf take it for a few laps and we are both still alive after she went full boost, skating across the last corner before pit straight.
I'm a bit devo'd that there is not more photos and videos on the ds website, because people said they got heaps of me.

yes old mate from Canada finally got back to me and its a A-C uhhh.

One day i will go up and attend one. Really should eventually meet the Downshift crew in person since i do work for them time to time.
Have you thought about spraying the intercooler or getting some mesh for it?
Posted 11 June 2013 - 06:28 PM
Yeah they are a good bunch of guys,
Everything they organise is always big and always run very well.
I'm a 4th year apprentice electrician and Rory, the owner of downshift works in my office haha, So I get all the inside goss.
I would spray the inter cooler black, BUT I don't know If I would like having it black, It would make my car look stocko again, And I wouldn't be able to go back to the aluminum that it is now.
Unsure what mesh would look like.
Has anyone got any tips on getting the black out of my rear bar.
I've tried a few cleaning products but I think its burnt the bar :'(
