As for the BC's they are DEFFINATLY worth every cent. Words can't describe how much of an improvement it is to drive and handle.

yeah ive got a set to but they ride really rough, handle really well but gettin a bit sick of em...

yeah the girls love the sunroof haha,
and yes I run my BC's at 8kg front and 8kg rear and maxed out the dampners all the way. VERY VERY stiff and bumpy ride but If I turn them down, i get major scrubbage on the inner and outer of the guards. The WRX seats cushion it a little less than the stocko's too which is a shame but again the enjoyment factor outweighs the cons.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to a lip that will 100% fit this front bar.
A link to a buy button would be nice :)

Just out of curiousity has anyone one in brisbane got any rims they wanna sell?

Have the springs got pre-load?
If they have, wind the dampening all the way soft (you need to wind them all the way hard (clockwise) first, then down) and click them up a couple of clicks at a time till you like them.
I put a set in my brothers WRX and where ever the factory had them set, was really soft, like Cadillac soft, a few clicks up and they are good stuff.

i get major scrubbage on the inner and outer of the guards.

I don't see how you can rub inner and outer guards with a 7" wheel and +48 offset.
You might rub the guard liner or the inner skirt at the front (stop, hammer time), but that's about it.

^^

Seems odd.
I have the same wheels, -40mm ride height in the front and -1.5deg camber and the only thing that touches is the back edge of the tyre on the guard liner at full lock.

nah no preload on them maybe thats why. As it is now, when i have the car up on jackstands, they are set up so the spring wont rattle. This may be my problem.

As in, the collar holds the spring tight against the top hat?
That's pre-load...

Yeah its very strange, The only thing i can think of is that because their is virtually no travel between the top of the tire and the car frame, when I a bump in the road it just rubs out everywhere.
Its not bad and not often just annoying when it happens.

Wind them till the collar is touching the spring, then add 5mm - should be nice and tight now.
Raise it more - so the spring goes higher, *should* make it softer up to a point - but go too far and the strut will start topping out.

My friend bought some 18x9.5 ROTA GRIDS few weeks ago but doesn't like them anymore. And said I could have them for a very good price. Will these things even fit on a GEN3 :S
