So yes they will fit, but it will be a PITA.

My friend bought some 18x9.5 ROTA GRIDS few weeks ago but doesn't like them anymore. And said I could have them for a very good price. Will these things even fit on a GEN3 :S
I've got them on mine.
Rolled and pulled guards, lots (I mean LOTS) of negative camber and 235 tyres - so abit of a stretch.
Or raise the car to a "normal" height and have mexi-poke wheels.

Still deciding weather to go 17's or 18's as these 18's at the moment scrub pretty bad at the front even with the guards rolled (only when giving it some though) O.o
I would love some BBS LM's for the right price but that will never happen haha.
My only option may be to raise the car a bit but thats NOT happening as low is better but trying to find a medium so I can still enjoy mountain runs without scrubbing.

what size tyres do you have on those rims? i had scrubbing issues with my wheels so i went for a lower profile tyre which fixed the problem.

I'm not really running any camber at all, have fully adj camber tops so might just pull them in a bit

Those tires on the 18's are 215/40/18

Or - take out the guard liners, hammer the skirt, put a piece of tubing over the harness' at the top of each guard and cable tie them up higher out of the way.
Or - get stiffer springs.

I don't think ill be able to bash the 'metal guards' upwards as there is a join in the metal, ARRRRRGHHHH I dunno I'll give it another go on the weekend.
I can see the spaces theoretically helping me on the inside guard near my coilovers but not the roof :@
My BC's spring rates are 8kg front and rear and the dampner is maxed out

I have pulled out all the plastic in the front guards and tried to push the cables up more!

They can tuck up (then cable tie to secure) on the ridge where the guard meets the top of the skirt, so it can't possibly rub the harness.
You can bash it, trust me.
I've got 12kg fronts and 14kg rears, doesn't rub anymore - but might if I lower it again.
