Got a new drivers window today, PDR this week still, 30mm lower springs are ordered and 4 pots on their way. I also fixed the electrical aerial on the weekend and started detailing the interior which is coming up a treat so pretty happy other wise.

ZERO interest in turboing it.
Not going to happen.
With the previous owner paying half, I should be able to get a rebuilt motor from Miles that'll last a long time and I'll be out of pocket about $1600. Thats way less than the cost of turboing it.

Nope, I wasnt keen on rebuilding this one.
Theyve found a 140km engine thats compression tested fine. They will remove and skim the heads, install new headgaskets, all new seals, new timing belt, water pump and thermostat and ship it to me and I'll fit it.
This way I know the engine will give me no dramas in the future.

Haha, yeh well I did get the new standard discs and pads but then these came up the day I was going to fit them.
Couldnt resist...
Also removed the rear struts to put new springs in and the struts are finished. Push the shaft down and it doesnt return, It actually slowly drops by itself. Cant say it was unexpected on a 226km car.
New struts all round are on their way and I should fit them all Tuesday along with new front and rear sway links . This car will be like new soon.
Fingers crossed the engine is here sometime next week as I'm aiming to fit it next Saturday.

Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.

Well, new struts, springs and sway bar links fitted AND new engine fitted on the weekend. Drives nicely. Just waiting on the rear bar to be sprayed (hopefully tomorrow) and then I'll take some pics.
Although Ive already changed my mind on a few things so new rims are on their way.

Its slowly getting there.....
I replaced the motor on the weekend, fitted new shocks and lowered springs all round, fitted new f & r swaybar links. Had my PDR guy come around and tidy the car up. Bought a brand new bumper which I just fitted this morning after getting sprayed. Ive basically stripped and cleaned the entire interior which came up a treat.
Still in the process of going over the paintwork, drivers side and tailgate done.
Plans afoot...
Tint (after RW)
Fujitsubo diffback (on its way)
Work Emotion 17 x 7.5 +48 (on their way) will be color coded to lower body.
Rear two pots (gotta match the fronts :roll: )
Respray front RHS guard and bonnet (dented) when I get the front bar.
Replace front bar (on its way) current one has AIDS and Leprosy.
Then it should be pretty neat.
