I'm not voting labor, First time voting and it isn't going to be for that bunch of clowns.

Also, driving into the main servo's, eagle boys, woolworths, carparks in general and anybody's yard... bumper and tow bar scrape unless you take a 45* angle. For this reason i had to move the garden at my house. so i could drive in and out easily.
All this is due to the amount of Rand Cluisers.

Townsvilles roads are beautiful, they are so flat and smooth and you can drive into places, I would move there if it wasn't for the climate and financial hole...
Parents 3 bedroom house in Townsville is ~$400 a week.

I'm not sure you're making a case for the place being small.

I have none of those things in my local township. The biggest building in town is the Lions group shed.

Seriously though, I understand what you're saying. I have had the ultimate luxury of doing things the other way around.

Growing up in the big smoke, and then moving to the country (eat a lot peaches), so I can actually appreciate the good things. When I first got here I was your age, and almost every single one of my mates from that age group moved to Perth - usually the girls first, then the blokes followed. Most of their lives are crap now.

Well i have always been in small towns and have grown sick and tired of it. Everyone gets away with breaking the law, everyone knows each other (not a good thing when you want to keep to yourself), and whenever you need something you have to go for a nice long drive or wait for the post to finally arrive two weeks latter.

I moved from a good part of Adelaide (Glenelg) to another good part of Adelaide (West Beach).

I'm exciting as Posted Image, yo.

Was born in the country though, until I was 2.

One day when you're older you'll skip out to Fletcher Creek and enjoy the ruins of a long lost bridge from more prosperous times for the town. You'll smile as the flowing torrent surges forth.

You might even stop by the old drive in off Flinders Hwy, and with a bit of grin, wonder why it can't all be simple again.

Because drug dealer.

Please, if I was a drug dealer I'd have something nicer than a stock 4th gen.

Trying to convince Sydney drifters to come to Raleigh is like convincing Renny to get his **** out for a woman. It's not gonna happen.

Shaz will quit smoking when Rendawg loses his virginity.

It was nice knowing you shazza.

If he didn't live in dire poverty I would say that you have made a great suggestion Brett!

And if i knew how to brew...

Hahahaha, great minds bro. I was thinking the exact same thing... We could call it Far Queue Brewhouse.

You'll find that the road situation is actually at a state level, not a council level - obtaining funding is run by your state road department. Annoying, I know, but you've also got a Labor government - not for much longer I wouldn't think - so you might see some positive change to infrastructure under a Liberal guide (VOTE LIBERAL) - we have rolling road projects around here constantly, and the roads are fantastic.

Don't hate your city for that though. Hate your state government.

I never said anything about Ren brewing. Fark that. That gold is all mine! Although it seems Ren is prepared to work for below minimum wage, so if he can prove himself maybe I could employ him to shovel spent grain.

@ Nik - are you/we going to mill this arvo/evening?

Sig worthy.

What Tom is trying to say, is that he moved from number 7 Church street, to number 16.

I learnt something off Wikipedia about my suburb.

The 2006 Census by the Australian Bureau of Statistics counted 4,332 persons in West Beach on census night. Of these, 50.0% were male and 50.0% were female.

Mad female/male ratio, Y U exactly same?

Ive lived in the same house my whole life. Apart from a 12 month stint, living in a luxury apartment in the entertainment district of Perth at the time. And 3 years in England. It was the house i was brought up in and its now the house I own.
But my time in England made me realise that although ive always lived in the city, im actually a country person at heart. We lived in small villiages in England and absolutely loved it.

Sig worthy.

Speaking of Churches and extremist Christians, bunch of the fuckers down the street from here this afternoon all holding hands and chanting bible versus then started yelling at people about changing their ways and how bad abortions are etc etc.

Was hoping to see like an empty bus swerve out of control and wipe them out.

Brett, you do have far more of a country attitude than the typical uptight city wanker attitude :D
