@Ren: You are aware that your city has it's own airport, yes? Tiny town with an airport?

It doesn't have any flights to anywhere. Just for private aircraft. What do you expect there are properties everywhere, they need to get repairs and servicing somewhere.

If you want to get from here to Brisbane, you drive to townsville and fly to brisbane. You cant take a plane anywhere unless you own one.

So, you did know your town has its own airport?

I'm sure the oppressive one and a half hour drive is painful.

My three hour drive to domestic is exciting because I know I'll be going to Queensland to see the Stock Exchange at Charters Towers.

Its not an airport, its a runway with buildings near it.

So little activity that they use it for the 1/8th mile drags.

Also, the runway at Charters Towers is nearly 1800m in length, used extensively during WW2, they even has A-20's there.

You cant just take your car in there 'ey. The people who live around it started to call the cops every time they even heard a car nearby.
My mates ended up in the paper for just driving out to the airport.

CTSC is bad idea... By all means come just so i can show you how bad this place is.

A mate of mine is near Charters Towers. (about 5 hrs drive)




He has his own airstrip and uses it to 'road test' his cars.
