VQ30 with long-tube headers... or 1UZ with good headers would be excellent choices. Both sound like a sexy party in your pants.

2.7L NA is engineerable.

If I was gunna force induct it, it would be a supercharger.

Step on loud pedal, paint 11s.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Adam, new gearbag is good! much nicer, quieter, less crunchy than my old box and funnily enough I seemed to have saved a bit on fuel too.... will have to do a bit more driving to confirm, but I used about a 1/5 of a tank of fuel less than any other trip I have done in the last year... odd!!

Babying the car trying not to break newly installed gearbox?

Sig worthy.

3L NA V6 not engineerable?

Well according to the RTA Document for engineering, the maximum CCs for an NA engine conversion is 3 x the original tare weight of the car or 2.5 x for Tarbot.

So basically, 900kg x 3 = 2700cc max NA and 2250cc for tarbot.

Spewing, Shaz.

Still there are some mighty fine 2.5L engines around. There was a bloke in QLD with a track prepped KE70 that had a Suzuki 2.5L V6 under the bonnet. 15deg between the banks so very narrow but revved like no other and sounded awesome. Packed a serious punch, too. Had no problem lighting up semi-slicks mid corner if you wanted it to, but was very well-mannered otherwise.

Interesting...

I am a P-car fan, and I'm sorry, but a one point five million dollar hybrid is not interesting to me at all.

Those motors will power individual wheels and help with assisted braking - I'd hazard that the figures of .9L/100 refers to when pretty much only the electric motors are operating, and the V8 is pretty much just idling?

We all know I'm not a whiz on engines, but I have a feeling there's a bit of creative licence being taken on those figures.
