Pretty much just what they are having to do to keep making cars... Make it so they COULD achieve that consumption... but if you actually bought a $1.5M supercar, would you just potter about in it??

I'm sure it is. I'd be happy if I could talk to a Prius owner that actually gets 3.9L/100km in their daily driven Prius.
But i guess these figures are only meant as a comparison.

The fuel consumption is of course just an "Achievable" figure. They all are. All i car about is the stupid amount of power.

Yeah, that figure is probably if the car is kept under 40km/h or something haha...

The Prius has a pretty shit highway fuel consumption compared to a lot of other cars out there, it only achieves good consumption figures in low speed driving.

Well, there is nothing to say that it will fail again... the first one got to the point it did from years of abuse and driving like a flipper when I first got the car... I have calmed down a lot in my slightly wiser years so I don't see this GB dying too quickly... if it does I will probably just have my old box rebuilt and go from there.. I just can't justify the price tag for a 6 speed conversion on my B4, the car isn't worth spending that kind of coin on.

^^ not a fan. Mainly because it doesn't have a proper roof, but secondly the rear looks far to bulbous.
