Car heading towards us about 10pm, high beams.

Tell Alisha to flash them.

It's a cop car.

$100 and 1 demerit.

They parked behind us with the high beams still on, and I even asked him if they were factory fitted (after the ticket, was a serious question) he said it was all normal and what was I talking about, then as we pulled away - they dipped them back to normal.

Seriously. Wankers.

Did you take his badge number and details. Make a report to the station? That shit is undeniably Posted Image'ed up and should be rectified.
Did you ask them to dim the beams when they were parked behind you?

Sig worthy.

Nik, i swear they do that on purpose!

I have almost gone to flash a few people and then i hesitate and dont, and BANG its a cop...

I hate to say it, but it really did genuinely feel that way last night. Then when we were coming through our closest town (Cowie, Brett!) they had both sides of the road completely blocked off for breath tests - normally we see one car. There was about four cars with a chaser at each end, so yeah, I think six patrol cars in total. Alisha blew .02 but she was packin' bricks.

It's never nice.

I KNEW one day she'd get pulled over and I KNEW it would somehow be my fault.

:)

Did you ask them to dim the beams when they were parked behind you?

I said we genuinely thought that they were on high beam - and he stopped me from finishing saying that he was 'assuming it was an accident' because if we thought they were on high beam, and flashed them on purpose, Alisha would be going to court. So, I shut up pretty quickly. Rules is rules I guess.

Sounds like he tried to pull the wool over your eyes to me.

If someone is driving towards you with high beams on, this is a major road safety issue. If you flash them to warn them that they have forgotten to dim them, this is not as big of a safety issue. I'm pretty sure a court would see that.

When cops pull this kind of bullshit, I really think we should be calling their bluff and going to court to defend our justifiable actions.

@Brett: Cool lighter brew.

I want one.

If I was driving I probably would have asked another question, but he was pretty bluntly saying that admitting Alisha had flashed them on purpose she'd get properly written up for reckless.

For that to happen, then for them to stop her for a breatho within five minutes... poor thing. They make it so stressful for people that aren't doing anything wrong! Makes people freak out!

I used to think it was just my mates and me, because we were all so dodgy. Always used to think it would be nice to be a normal person for a while, and give zero fucks about being pulled over.

I was wondering why they didn't breatho her actually. It was 10pm.

Serious question.

Do you guys get out of the car when you get pulled over? I always have, but a lot of people tell me not to.

In America apparently in some states you risk just getting shot straight up for jumping out of your vehicle straight away.

I've always stayed in the car. Only been pulled up twice outside of RBTs and not since I've owned the Liberty. Both times because it was after midnight and I was on p plates.

Actually. I lie. I got pulled up within a week of owning a turbo charged car for speeding but they didn't have a radar on so I got off with a warning!

I've just noticed a smell coming from my underpants.

Same as Brett.

I just wind down the window and turn the car off.

I have probably been pulled over the most here haha. When my number plate was t0m I got pulled over about once every two weeks.

When I think about it. The only times I've been pulled over have been on the hwy( just out of Busso and once out of Dunsborough) and on the freeway. So none of those circumstances would have been safe for me to get out.

Sig worthy.

Nik, I've had the same thing. Cop told me it was his fog lights though. Was a real *****.

Considering they can book you for having fogs on!

I only got a warning. I would have probably flipped it if I got a fine.

It's hardly worth the hassle fighting for the $100 and one point though. And that's probably why they do it.

Should have told em there was a roo on the road :)

+ I know how dazzling high beams can be. Heaps of dicks don't know how to dim them around here!

Haha, Tom. The hours I used to drive around... the Forester got two full searches (I'm talking just about pulling up carpets) and the B4 three times. I ALWAYS get out of the car first, this is WA man, they're not going to shoot me. The entire visual of a cop STANDING over me, is not my thing. You IMMEDIATELY know (from being in the passenger seat) whether it's a good cop, or a wanker, by how they start talking to you. A good cop will bended knee and come down to your eye level, a bad cop? Will always stay standing over you.

That's why I get out. I'm noone's bitch.

Should have told em there was a roo on the road :)

Haawwwww that's a fuckingood call bro. Too late now, but phwoar, nice brain work homie.

Best B4 search. 'Bout 3am on Herdsman Parade, pulled out in the beefie and just pretty much idled it across the road, probably didn't get up to much more than 40. Hadn't slept in about four days.

Day before was a Friday and I went to the wholesale liquor place and bought about ten cartons of beer, actually I think it was eight. Anyway. Not important. I put most of it on the back seat and a couple in the boot - clearly, being a legend, I was hitting some corners a bit quick. I went around the round a bout near where I was living, and heard a big arse Posted Imagefrom the boot. Bugger. Busted about six bottles. Not cool man, this is one of the rarest most beautiful cars in the world.

So as soon as I got home I cleaned the hell out of it. But there was SO MUCH GLASS - it was cheap beer in Chinese bottles (B.A beer - Brett). SO I just couldn't get it all out with my amazingly crappy dust buster.

Fast forward to the pull over.

The car is spotless. Nothing inside, nothing. Nothing but me and my wallet.

"That's a lot of money for this time of the morning"

"Mate, that's a lot of money any time of day"

Good one Nik. Posted Image'ing idiot.

Full car search. He gets to the boot, I watch on.

He started by tapping it, like he was knocking on a door. Which I found odd, because any Posted Image'ing idiot would know that there's clearly a spare tyre under there. He was raised eyebrows, almost to say to his partner,

"He's hollowed out the boot!"

Then, the absolute trollop, starts rubbing his open face palm all over the boot carpet. Dude started bleeding like all Posted Image, straight away. There was blood on my bumper and shit, his female accomplice ran for the first aid and bandaged him up...

They told me to go and drive safe, I thought about asking who was going to clean the blood off, but thought better of it.

Hahaha.

My worst -

On Wyong road at about 1230-1am after a JBT concert in Newcastle. Cop travelling the opposite way about 5 mins from home. Massive garden-type medium strip between directions do no real chance for him to spin around and chase me yet I watch him in my mirror fly down to the next roundabout and proceed to tailgate me for a while.

I wasn't doing anything wrong to begin with so I don't know what he was up to.

I turn right at the next roundabout because that's where I live and of course he follows and pulls me up.

I get a breath test after zero drinks do. Was all good. He walks around the car and tells me to turn my foggies off. Fair enough. It had been pouring the freeway but hadn't turned them off yet.

He questioned the position of my p plates but I demonstrated how they were bolted on after an incident with an RBT. I definitely wasn't going to be done for that again! Same with the rear.

He couldn't get me for anything but tried his hardest.

I've just noticed a smell coming from my underpants.

Someones gotta change it to something less ...gay!

After being pulled over in the XT, I had two cops appear at both front windows. Probably wanted to search the car but unlucky for them, I keep the inside of my car in pristine condition and there is really nothing suss going on in there and they could tell.

I've just noticed a smell coming from my underpants.
