Trick is to get a gearbox so hard to drive with as a learner, that it just never happens. She only has an auto license (we have that in WA) so legally I have an excuse for her to keep her dirty 'ing hands off my sti.

Also mentioning on a semi-regular basis how tricky a clutch is and how likely it is she will get stuck in traffic stalled at the lights certainly helps keep the fear in her.

Unfortunately I had an auto and a manual. I wouldn't let her touch the auto (3 week old car from factory) so I caved and let her try the manual. Poor thing needed a new clutch and synchros, not to mention some panelbeating.. She's a half way decent driver now, so if it's really necessary I hand over the keys, which is why I have a dint in my door and a scratch on the front. The previous owner 'ed the under-side of the front bumper, but it has gotten worse..

She's scared of the car from the passenger seat, so driver seat I think she'd be terrified.

Although i've got her on the modding bug. She's got a TDI golf, looking at chipping it.

Still a truck to me, but great little car.

How were you running 4 displays? given the age of the machine you were running....... I know you could run two displays in DVI and one using display port but yeah... I am guessing you were running twin graphics cards in SLi?

Kitchen finished yesterday like a bawse.

Fridge cupboard was all weird like, so I ripped it down, gave the wall a lick of paint.

Then my mate knocked me up a cupboard. Reused cupboard doors, to make it look original and not out of place.

Was meant to be finished before xmas.
