Thanks guys.

Sent my front Koni shocks off today to be regassed, with new seals. Ordered a set of front king springs, which *should* get close to the height I want it. Falcon springs are coming tomorrow.

So, suspension wise, I have the following to do before I for the wheels.

- Front Springs
- Wait for the rebuilt Konis to come back
- Pull apart falcon strut and throw it in the bin. Obtain springs.
- Sand and paint Corona LCAs silver
- Finish stripping calipers, and paint silver once I chuck a caliper kit through it.
- Brake pads
- Machine rotors
- Obtain rear panhard rod to stop diff movement once lowered.

Then, I'll chuck the wheels on, drive it till it blows, and whack a 4A in it.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I know a few people won't agree with my tyre choice, however, it's just for shots and giggles, and it will look a bit of orright.

Nankang NS2 185/45/15.

Let's face it, you're not exactly going to be stretching the limits of physics in a KE :P

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Sure silver calipers will look good? IMO black would be better.. Due to the smallish holes in the rims, the caliper might take up that whole view range and just look ...shitty? perhaps..

Hey mate,

Doubtful I will even be able to see the calipers behind the wheels, but you do have a point. Once they are test fitted, I'll suss out the caliper location, and then decide on a color. The inside of the wheels are black, so I think a silver caliper will contrast well against them.

Cheers,
Shazza

Thought so.
Koni are oil shocks which is why I like them sooooo much. Better ride IMO over gas pressurised.

Yellow eh, externally adjustable? If yes then I am much jealous.

I LYK OIL COZ ITZ GEWD.

I find that the gas limits the short movements caused by ripples in the road compared to oil.
Oil seems to have a better ride quality over the smaller bumps as the piston is under less pressure on compression.

(EXPLANASHUN IZ NOT GEWD)

Under hard conditions gas is better, the damping rate remains more constant as there is less chance of cavitation bubbles froming in the oil.

KONI, Y U NO MAKE SHOKERZ 4 GEN 3??

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yeah, i have Koni Yellows in the front (Which need to be adjusted outside of the car) and I have Koni Reds for the rear (With in car adjustment)

Should handle well, once the fronts are rebuilt.

In car adjustments as in similar to how you'd adjust airbags, just with not as much adjustability? I mean, just adjustable with a remote of sorts?
