nice mate. i'm seeing a lot more cars running their FMIC piping in "reverse" direction with hot side on the passenger side instead or rotating the exhaust housing. are you going in guard filter? i wonder if there's any intake temp difference running the cooler pipes that way

He was questioning where the Aircon dryer was as it wasn't in the engine bay and he was expecting one..

Are they inside the cabin on a liberty ? He was under the impression they where in the bay on a impreza ?

Cheers

I know on a GC8 it is in the bay if it's what im thinking of. Not sure if the Liberty has one as its near the fuel filter. (like underneath it) forgot the exact location.

JRod is saying instead of having the turbo north-south like the engine, you twist it on the pipework to have it pointed out sideways, enabling a larger and straighter intake pipe, rather than the intake that goes underneath the intake manifold.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it. In process of being stripped and sold off.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon. Scrapped.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. Scrapped.

MY13 BRG, current daily, very nice to drive, small mods to make it even nicer again.

rather than the intake that goes underneath the intake manifold.

i.e. that red silicone pipe which supplies air to the turbo.
