your gearbox whines like a mother trucker

no skid videos? sorry I haven't been religiously following your thread, but what's up with it ATM?

Current problems.

Clicking when turning.
CEL light comes on after 10 mins of driving , I think its the cam solenoid as that needs replacing and is unplugged
ABS light
And the stero needs speakers re connected.

Apart from that its waiting on a tune and its good to go

how did you go with the issues?

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Took it in and had them look over it for a few hours.

They are thinking the Clicking is the centre diff..

Found out after scanning the ABS codes that the front left sensor is forked so I need one of those..

They couldn't tell me why im getting a constant CEL come up after driving the car for longer than 10 minutes.. When they scanned for error codes nothing came up.

Umm apart from that pile of bad news.. I got my new oil valve from morgs !!

May have already been asked but are you sure the diff ratios match?

Yup.. When we had the whole mix up with the diff I got off Shaz my mechanic went to the point of counting teeth on the diff to make 100% sure it matched the gear bag.

Just got off the phone to Miles from AM auto and he said with the 01-06 DCCD box`s ( the ones with a scroll wheel only)

Have the centre diff locked permantly.. And advised me that it will always click.. He said the only way to stop it is to switch out  the center diff for a non DCCD one.

SO it may just be the way it is..

Can you just run a dccd controller?

Unsure.. Im not really worried about the clicking .. If it is meant to be like that and isnt forking the rest of the drivetrain then im happy to have it click..

I could use one of these manual ones (its allready running the OEM one thats the same ) but they still dosent allow the diff to fully stop by the sounds of it.. Only the MY06 + ones with the auto switch do that..

http://dccdpro.com/z...e=index&cPath=1

I just need to take it out and test that the DCCD controller currently fitted is actually working as if its not it defaults to being fully locked all the time.

He told me to just drive it in a circle slowly and then turn the scroll wheel.. if it get worse when changing it its working.. And therefor nothing is wrong with it..

If it does nothing then the diff itself could be Forke.png'ed..

Well went out and tested the above and the switch and controller are defiantly working correctly. I went slow in a tight circle in the local carpark and when turning the switch up the clicking went to full clonking as the diff fully locked up. SO it seems that the diff is doing exactly what its meant to. As far as AM Auto know.

Seems my tuner just wasnt aware of the constant locking on the older manual type DCCD box`s.

SOOO thats good news..

Now just to fit the new ABS sensor and oil control solenoid.. Then its tune time !!

EDIT booked in for the tune Friday the 14th.. :)
