Agreed. Tinted headlights is just asking for a defect.sorry nick but i think it looked better the day you brought it....
I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.
It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

They're not tinted.
The insides are painted black, not the lens or the glass on the inside.
The projector on the inside still gives out the same amount of light as it did before the insides were smoked.
Don't jump to conclusions next time

Here she is how she sits right now, after I installed the smoked headlights + HID's.

Cheers,

This. But each to their own. Modifying said "rare" car so drastically only devalues it in my opinion. It looked hot when new, now it's kinda taking on a boy racer thing. I hope it doesn't sit like that photoshop image haha, and leave the grill chrome.sorry nick but i think it looked better the day you brought it....
Blue wouldn't have been my choice for the hoses in the engine bay... but I think you said this was done when bought. The BBS are nice in their own right but the stock wheels suited it better in my opinion. It's still a nice car though.

I didn't.
This is proper smoked, not 16-year-old-first-car-civic-niteshades-headlights smoked.
I'm pretty sure that the pic on the previous page was photoshopped to that height.
Nick, any pics of how it sits at the moment?

Shazza
Yup, its photoshopped. And it sits exactly how it does in that first picture, 4x4. Hahahaha. But with the super lows I'm told it will sit as low as what it is, possibly a little higher, as thats how it was on the blokes E30 that I bought the springs off.

Those radiator hoses are genuine BMW. The M3 E30's have those exact hoses.
I chose those wheels as they came from that era, it's not like I've chosen something off a civic. Stock rims I'm holding on to and we will refit if/when time comes to sell the car

This.Nick,
You will always get people telling you you shouldn't "up" a classic. I see it all the time on the Mini forum. In the end, if you want to air brush flames on the bonnet. Who cares. It's the rights you earn when you bought the car!

Just because a few of us don't really share your taste, doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy them mate. Don't take it personally!

I respect everyones opinion, and yes, I probably am going to hate my self in a few years for not leaving everything dead stock.
But for now it's my daily, and possibly once it moves into my weekender it'll be a lot more subtle and original
