Nice one! Do you lose any revs with the stroker kit?

Also, wouldn't you be better off swapping an M30 in, in terms of potential to make power?

Regardless, it sounds like ridiculous fun

I wanted an easy swap.. If I was going to swap engines I'd put either an M60 V8 or find an S52 or possible even S54. This literally means taking old engine out, putting new one in, hooking er up and it's as easy as that.
Not exactly looking for power, just more torque. I've got plans to turbo this baby in 12 months time so I've got all the supporting mods ready for it.

Hahaha nope, it went the other way :(

FuckinBOSS!

Congrats on the purchase. It may seem like you've wasted a large wad of cash on an old car, but you're a car enthusiast, and it will bring you immense joy, knowing that your rig has been built, and not bought.

Pride yourself in that.

Evening lads, quick update!

Lost my license for 12 months. January 2012 - January 2013.. long story short I was driving disqualified.. my fault, I'm an idiot and I have to cop it. Almost there.
Haven't really had the chance the drive the car with the new engine.. but I've still been spending many moneys on it!

Engine is in. 180kw at the wheels. 330nm torque.
Bought some ground control coilovers.
Engine needs another tune and I need to do a bit of body work.. a fairly large hole under my accelerator pedal of rust and in my boot too!
Engine only has about 1500km (in 12 months) on it since I haven't been able to drive it. Mainly been my friends taking it through the national park run or on big cruises.

Pics!

Now lower.

Crappy iPhone shot but I like it.

Anyway, I get my license back in January so until then she's just sitting dormant.

When I do get it back, I plan on joining the Subaru team again and buying a daily Lib or Forester, something comfortable.. cause this thing is ridiculously hard to drive around daily with it's lumpy cam and extreme petrol consumption.. and speed.

Word is the P-Plate laws are changing soon again and p-platers will be able to drive turbo cars with 130kw/1ton ratio, that would make GT Foz/Lib legal!

If I didn't lose my license I would be on my fulls and I could buy a turbo subaru no worries. :(

Thanks y'all!

Good stuff, looks great, hopefully it has taught you a lesson, I know it did for me being out for 4 months

Cheers

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

It sucks. I've been in your shoes, but for two years instead of one. You'll DEFINITELY learn your lesson, no doubt about it. I did.

The Beamer is coming along nicely man.
