No Problemo! Should only need 1 can, I dont know that you would need primer. Depends how much metal you uncover.

Self priming? its gonna be rustguard so it sprays onto the metal. Because the vinyl will be on the roof, it may get a moisture buildup under it, apparently it happened a lot up here.

This afternoon was full of excitement... Installed the head unit by finally patching the wire harness properly, got the front speakers installed and the most interesting part... had a lighter explode in my hand, got barely any hair left on my knee and both my hands. Was like i cast a fire spell or something

'ing hurt but continued on to finish installing the head unit. Now i need a new lighter.

Tyres have been ordered and should be installed tomorrow, trying to schedule the road worthy check but the guy didn't answer his phone this afternoon, will try again tomora.

With regards to the issue of no paint on the roof.

Go over the roof skin striking it with the back of a ball pein hammer until the entire roof resembles the surface of a golf ball.

This aero tratment will reduce drag thus increasing top speed and reducing fuel consumption.

"Borrowed" the work ute for lunch... Went to the Road worthy guy's place and scheduled the "Vehicle Safety check" for tomorrow morning.
Dropped the wheels off at the tyre place and the new tyres will be put on them at 2:30 today.

Tonight all i got to do is put the rear tyres back on, inflate the front tyres, remove/paint any left over rust and clean all my shit out of it.

Car is at the mechanic getting a roadworthy. Ran pretty well feels alright, bit awkward because of the seat position but meh, I'll get used to it.

Before I could start it this morning I had to fix an ignition lead... bastard of a thing had expanded and popped out of the engine... So I grabbed one of my old Subaru ones and stuck that in... Stands out like a sore thumb but it works pretty well

Still waiting to hear from the mechanic doing the roadworthy. Once its done i will register it, insure it then get some new plugs and leads.
