The Liberty is good, the Liberty was great.. but time for a new toy! :D

since selling my old SF5 Forry i was itching to get back into another one. and the 2012 OzFoz Rally was the best excuse.

the car was built in under 3 months (was a bit of a race for the Rally)

it started as a 98 NA forester bought off Ebay, Daniel_B4 and i flew down to Sydney, caught a few trains and wolaa there she was waiting for us.
Posted Image

from there the GPS was set and off we headed to South Sydney and Ichiban Imports! (couldn't recommend Scott and Ben enough)
Posted Image

where we fitted the car with STB STI gear: Tailgate, taillights, rearbar, sideskirts, doortrims, bonnet, headlights, grill, front bar etc
with an Unregistered permit we drove the "bitsa" forester home to QLD
Posted Image

once home the real playing started, found a Version 3/4 STI halfcut in Bris, pulled the motor out
Posted Image

Forester motor out..
Posted Image

stripped engine bay got a clean and paint
Posted Image

skip a few (as i didnt get pics)

both the looms got striped out and sent up at AM Auto up Sunshine Coast QLD to get spliced together

STI motor/gearbox/rearend was installed into Forester

Turbo housing was rotated and FMIC piping was fabed up with a thinner core (still retains 90% of reobar) and Alloy Radiator installed

loom was picked up and re-installed into forester

CAR STARTED

dash was re-installed, Walbro was installed, a few more bits and pieces done.. SUCCESS CAR DRIVES
Posted Image

Cage fabed up

Posted Image

seats went in on custom rails
interior went back in

car went in for paint at CDR at Archerfeild with there $2500 resprays (cost me a bit more as i had holes welded up, and had them do inside the door jams/boot/bonnet etc)
Colour is: BMW Steel Grey #400
Posted Image

custom SS 3" was fabbed up with two resonators and ShotGun pipes (as close as possible to body/ center bearing)
Posted Image

that proved to be excessively LOUD so had a Varex put on and wheel alignment (4 days before the Rally)
Posted Image

3 days before the Rally had a Sub/battery box and floor knocked together by the Brother in Law, while he was doing that i was installing HID spotties behind the grill
(flew to Melb and drove back to the Gold Coast in Dani's MY10)
2 days before had the 100kms service done on the motor as i did not know the history
1 day to go, got the forester back, rego'd the XT in QLD. LED's, BOV etc washed both cars. a few more bits and pieces done

BAM! RALLY TIME!!!

HOLY SHIZ!!!

What a great build, turned out awesome!

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

+1 Colour is amazing!

Love the HID's behind the grill, the blue lenses look wicked with the body colour. Fantastic effort, one of the best foresters i've ever seen!
