Thanking you all for the kind words. i really want to get out on track and have a bit of fun with this one. Having only ever driven Subaru's and AWD, RWD is something different to master :-)

bit of a update, not alot has changed with the car, after breaking a driveshaft out on track, and a diff around town i have finally sourced a 4.44 mechanical R180, shafts and 02STI rear hubs (hopefully going in next week)
have also sourced a PPG gearbox that will be put in the same time.
exterior is much the same, have a Type M front bar as a spare incase of track disasters
interior now sports a ZeroSports gaugepod and Gauges organized through a member on OzFoz, Titanium dildo gearstick through my fabricator, and hopefully the SF5 STI interiour next month

been awhile, dogbox is in, R180 is in, STI interiour is in, skids have been done, powerslides are fun. wet weather is scary ;-)

had a bit of fun out at the DownShift Track Battle today, a few laps in on the circut time attack i shattered the rear CV.
took it home and replaced the joint and boot and had it back on the skidpan a few hours later
but as usual i push s#!t too far, 5 people in the car on the last run of the skidpan, snapped the shaft (but hey, i was the only car there that took out more than one passanger, Family Wagon FTW)
